Alachua

    The County extended its local state of emergency order for COVID on September 9th until September 16th. On August 19, the county declared a short term emergency order requiring the public to wear a face mask in all indoor places when there are more than two people present, exceptions apply. This short term emergency order was extended on September 9th until September 16th. Currently, the county requires all employees to wear masks inside and, for those not vaccinated, to wear masks outside. Unvaccinated employees are not eligible to travel, and do not receive a week of COVID Leave if they become sick. Those that do not demonstrate vaccination status are required to undergo weekly testing.

    Leon County is requiring all employees to be vaccinated by October 1, 2021; employees that request to remain unvaccinated due to an accommodation under the ADA will be required to wear masks.

    Levy County is under a local state of emergency due to COVID-19 as of September 7th, and to be ratified September 21st or as thereafter as a quorum of the Board can meet.
